Default 4th gen. carbon fenders......

OK, I called a place the other day about some carbon fiber fenders for the 4th gen. I was told by a guy at Carbon Creations that if I was willing to donate a pair of fenders and set up group buy that it would be possible to get some made. So I guess we need to see if anyone here is interested. Please post here if you are. The guys name is Ryan and I will be talking to him on Monday. I will donate the needed fenders if you guys are into a group buy for these.

I would guess at least 10 pair would be needed. I will send him some brand new OEM fenders to use as a mold, and they will make the fenders.

You should have them include the hole for JDM sidemarkers

I'd be in if they're not $500-600+....you can get fiberglass for a lot less than that and it's not like the weight difference is that much from CF.

Definitely something I would be interested if they have the holes for the side markers as was stated earlier. I would pay 400-500 for a pair.

You guys really think it would look nice on a car that is a color other than black? It would look like a Frankenstein car. Although I guess some of us have a car now that looks like that.

/me looks at people in the thread

Anyway maybe yall can change my mind, does anyone have a pic of these installed on a car? Also I would only, and I emphasize only be interested if they were JDM style with the hole for the side marker. Ask them how many people they need, and a ball park price OP.

I agree with the side markers should be on them. However, I only have USDM fenders. Anyone who wants to donate a pair of JDM fenders(not likely) please speak up.

Depending on price I might be interested.. I can go for less weight..
Also, you can paint CF, so you don't have to drive around with Carbon Fiber looking fenders........

I vote +1 for No Side Marker Light junk, crap, piece, waste, why the freak does everyone want a freakin' light on their freakin' fender?? Just to say JDM y0?! Some JDM Options I understand, but what's the deal with the side freakin' light?? I thought the thing to do was to shave stuff off the car so it's cleaner, I don' t understand...

No and no? Why? Why pay for a CF Gauge Pillar? Would it be that much better than Plastic or whatever the others are made out of?

It would be easy to have someone cut the holes for the sidemarkers on a USM fender, they just need the mold. There's plenty of measurements we can supply them with also so they're sure to get the hole size right. Because cutting CF would be no bueno.
