The problem is cant downshift into 2nd gear, wont engage. I removed the case and checked stuff out. the input shaft end bearing has about .10" of play and the 2nd gear syncros are worn, but the syncro teeth on the 2nd gear itself seem a lil rounded too. there is noticeable wear on the reverse teeth of the syncro sleeve also. has anyone else encountered this scenario too? im going to replaced bearings and syncros, but should i replace 2nd gear too? anything else i should check out?

 

Is the fork bent/broken?

 

no the forks are fine. when driving normal, its a lil difficult but it will engage into 2nd.
