Rack and pinion help!??
My set up is 93 honda civic lx w/JDM D15B Vtec swap.Currently the boots on my rack and pinion are ripped.And someone told me that my tie rods were fuked.Now my Q is do i need to replace the whole rack and pinion or how can i fix it for cheap cuz this parts retail 200+.Thanx for any help guys

Is the rack itself leaking any fluid? If so, you'll need to replace the rack.
If there are no leaks, you can just replace the tie rods and boots. What is wrong with the tie rods (I'm assuming inner)? Have the boots been broken for a long time?

Look i really dont know they told me they were messed up when they tried to do aligment.When you say leaking where would the leaking come from? Thanx for your help so far Oh yeah i dont really remember if its inner or outer!
