Yea, but did it actually take 13.2 gallons when you filled it? Prolly not. Divide your mileage but what it actually took to fill it, that's your mpg.
I just recently took a trip with all highway mileage. Dallas, to College Station, to Houston, all in one day and I got 390 miles to a tank, and it took 11.3 gallons to fill it up. That's with I/RH/E and stock ecu.

damn that doesnt make sence.......390 miles on 11.2 gallons??? im pretty sure i put in 13.2, anywayz last night i filled it up again and i have the receipt to prove that i put in 13.2 or even a bit more cause when the thing stops i keep pumpin it, and again im going to drive like an old lady this week to see, but if not there most be something wrong, cause my car is bone stock, no intake no exhaust nothing.....
It averaged out to 34.5 mpg I think. Which sounds right to me. How many miles are on your car? Have you ever changed your spark plugs out? I changed mine at 80k, so that may have something to do with it also.
Intakes also allow your car to breathe more and increases mpg then a stock air box. If you don't want to go intake, check your filter in your air box. If it's really dirty change it. It helps to.
yeah well i only got 64k, i am putting on a injen cold air intake, which i dont know if i should put on cause i dont wanna get hydrolock and an exhaust, the spark plugs i changed about a week ago with the coil pack or whatever they are call.......i changed the oil about 2 weeks ago, i cant figure out why it wouldnt go past the 25mpg.........i did forget to mention my o2 sensor is bad

13.2 gallons is how much gas our tank holds. that meant that you completely emptied out the gas tank. you know that even when your gas light initially comes on, it doesn't mean you have NO gas in your car right? there is a 1-2 gallon leeway so that dumb people wont constantly run out of gas.
if you're putting in that much gas, you might want to go to a new gas station. some gas stations in the past have altered their gas output on their pumps so that you would think you're getting 1 gallon, when you were actually getting something like .9 gallons.
if your o2 sensor is bad, it's kind of obvious why your gas mileage is terrible.

yeah u guys are right, some gas stations might cheat u out on some money, cause i just saw my receipt and it says 13.5 gallons at $2.98 = $40.60 and i did run the car for a long as time with the gas light on, i know theres a reserve for dumb-*** people, but it definatly has to do with the 02 sensor, this is like 6th honda/acura that ive owned and this one has been the worst in gas, not even my previous car 2.2 Vtech BB6 ate that much gas, it averaged out like 27 28 mpg.........so im just waiting on the o2 to come in the mail to install it and see if it betters it

I am sure the gas tank is not 15 gallons even if you include putting gas through the lines, fuel rail, and so forth. Honda's official number is 13.2 gallons. 1.8 gallons is a lot of liquid.
