Default 2000 prelude How do I remove and install spark plugs to check after nitrous run

Hello,

I am going to be using a zex 75 shot instead of the 55 shot wet kit I am using now. I want to be able to remove and reinstall the spark plugs to check for detonation or running too rich. I do not know what tools I will need or any special tools, and exactly how to do it properly.

Thanks

Wait, mabey Im missing something. You cant take out your spark plugs, but yet you want a nitrous kit. Now I dont know about nitrous kits that much, but if you cant remove your spark plugs, I do believe that you shouldnt even consider a nitrous kit yet.

Well first you need a blow dryer, two sticks of bubblegum, and a pocket watch. If you don't have any of those then an apple, some pocket lint and a penny. If you can't figure it out after that then buy a Helms manual. Oh, and forget the nitrous.

ohhhh myyyy. You are going to run nitrous and you don't know how to do the simplest maintance on the car. This does not look promissing.

If i was your car i would be hoping someone steals me before you kill me.

Ran out of posts yesterday because I’m a quote “newbie”. Anyway, just wanted to let every single person who wrote something stupid, know what a loser you are. You guys probably scan forums for things you can make corny little comments to in between masturbating sessions because you have nothing better to do. I am not a moron, I just have no mechanical experience with my car. That does not mean it is no properly maintained or my setup is terrible, just that I used to prefer having a professional do the work. I spent 7 years in the army, 2 of those years in Iraq fighting for your ability to have this open forum. I have experience with tools, and electronics, not much in mechanical but I can learn. I worked on multi million dollar helicopters in some of the most miserable conditions. What have any of you cool guys done for your country? This is what you want to be pathetic losers typing stupid comments to people who are trying to improve themselves. Usually it’s the people with the crapiest, ugly, slow cars that want to comment also and I’m sure I would dip on most of you. Just for reference I will post my setup. The only reason I am now doing maintenance on my own is expense, and most shops here suck and I end up having to redo the same job I just paid for. Posted this same topic on another forum and got a non sarcastic perfect response immediately. What tools I needed and everything. I really just needed to know what tools to buy as I do not have a tool box, I just build one as I need to buy tools for a project. I didn’t want to run back and forth to the store because I did not have the proper tools. Whats so pathetic is instead of just responding with the info, you had the time to write rediculous comments instead. Hope you all take a good look at yourselves, probably not because that’s the type of idiots you are. No offense to anyone who reads this and planned on responding accordingly.
My setup
2000 prelude base
I/H/E/
Tuned VAFC WOT (Running Rich while on Nitrous for Safety)
ACT clutch and lightened flywheel
MSD SCI Ignition w/ blaster 2 and wires
Zex Spark Plugs
Zex Wet kit currently running 55 shot about 8 bottles in a couple years no problem
Dynotune bottle heater
Compression test done before putting kit on as well as 3 angle valve job
What I'm doing
want to increase to the 75 shot with the zex kit
got msd 8982 start/retard controller to retard timing 3 deg while on the juice
got msd 8969 digital rpm window switch to keep traction and cut of juice before the rev limiter.
I will be wiring those myself. I bet some of you would have a problem with that. Would I help you, yes, would I be a dick about it, read your post and make fun of you, No because I’m not an a hole
Not that this is the best setup on the planet, but for me and financially right now, it’s the best I can afford safely. Will be adding fuel pump and fuel pressure safety switch in near future.

i think it's weird that you have to mention you were at war.. i think the rest of the nation agrees with me when I say it's not a war. the person who believes it's a war: GBush himself. and as far as the spark plugs go, call up your professional? yeah?

I knew there would be someone to say something like that. Just wanted you guys to know how irrelevant to society you probably are. You like to have the freedom to make your opinions and complaints, but you take it all for granted. You would do nothing to protect these freedoms, and have no respect for the people who serve you so you don't have to. Really just added the military experience to show I've maybe seen and done a few things in life and I'm not some rich guy asking stupid questions about his car. I'm sure there are things in life you did not know and had to ask questions. I would just like to live in a society where people help each other instead of being jerks all the time. Oh and about the professional, do you do your own plumbing? Did you build your own house? Is there any aspect in life in which you are not a professional? If so, think a bit before you speak as you are not even grown enough to realize your wrong. I bet this is pretty much the only entertainment you've got right now.

I don't agree with your views except one. We should live in a society where we all help each other. However, after reading your posts I honestly think you should go out and educate yourself further, rather than just what the military has taught you. You seem to still be clueless about why you were even in iraq in the first place.

Here is what you need

I believe its a 21mm deep socket. It says spark plug on it.

Then all you do it unplug the plug wires on the valve cover.

Get a long extension and insert it into the holes.

Loosen the spark plugs, check plugs, put the plugs back in, tighten.

Its that easy.

Whats funny is you think I'm someone whom even advocates this war or believes in our being there. You are just running on assumptions because I mentioned my time in Iraq. I did not mention my views or optinions on the matter. I did not let the military brain wash me, nor does it make up the person I am. The reason we are in Iraq has nothing to do with soldiers going. Do you think they said hey guy, what is your opinion about this war? do you think we should invade? Would you like to go? But we all went anyway because we signed a contract and are at the will of our superiors. You wouldn't understand that. Thats why its nuts to me how you make inferences about my views about Iraq without any knowledge of my stand. I just give respect to the people who go without much choice and do their duty as a soldier. I'm sure your a great politition and have regular discussions with high end members of society about Iraq and you have inside information that nobody else does to make your opinions. I do not need the info on the spark plugs anymore as someone else handled that for me on another forum where people are helpful not jerks. And what view did you not agree on? The fact that you have used a professional before and you do not know everything. I'm sure thats the one and you are just not one to admit when you are wrong

This is stupid. This is a car forum. I am so sick of hearing about iraq and the war on terror dear god. The mods should lock this.

That was pretty articulate, I hate wasting one of my last posts of the day on you, but so be it. What makes me a moron? Because I made a strong point? If you had read the entire post you would have realized the "Professional" that I used was garbage and I would have to redo the work again anyway. I've decided I can not trust a shop anymore and I have taken matters into my own hands. And the death toll comment/scam, I don't even know how to respond to that. Tough talk over the internet I guess, pretty impressive. I'm guessing you have a pretty miserable life and judging from your attitude, that will continue indefinately. That alone is satisfaction for me. I'm not going to drop down to your level.
