5th gen Accord drivers... what brand of springs and shocks are you using?
I want to slam my 95 accord down 3-4", but I just want to know which would be a good combo for this? I'm only looking to shell out $500-$600. Was thinking of Sprint Springs (drop 3.25), but not sure which shocks are good to go with these.

I have the same setup. Great for the price.

.....yeah, well not everyone just does suspension for aesthetics. some of us care about how the care handles as well. coilovers have nothing to do with being able to go "lower" rather they offer better spring rates and rebound dampening that you cannot find with some spring thrown over a shock, even an entry level coilover like omni.
edit: now i understand what you were saying. my bad.

Whatever you do don't get coilovers i had them on my 94 accord and you could feel every bump in the road , it would drag every where it just rode like ****.

Coilovers have adjustable dampening effects, ride heights, and spring rates (at least you can order custom spring rates for hte most part).
I don't think coilovers are the problem, the benefits of coilovers outweigh those of upgraded shocks and springs considerably. Maybe you dropped the car too much and sacrificed shock travel, or the rates were to high, or the kit was just cheap in general?

Dont buy that crap man, save up for something nice. My friend had those on his prelude and they were terrible. Not even close to enough dampening, and the springs were just total garbage.

3-4" drop... that will definately slam out that car... are you going to daily drive it like that?
I had some h&r race springs and it was almost too low to be streetable around here, a speed bump would damn near leave you high centered. The curb on a driveway was like driving up a mountain... had to hit it at a 45 degree angle and even then it would still drag the lip.

The poor ride quality Can be attributed to the coilovers you got, but it does not mean all coilovers ride poorly.
