I have a 93 del sol (1.5) my motor blew and I got the same stock motor with future plans of putting in something w/ball h22, or somthing...anyways my question is Can I put air conditioning in it? It only has a fan and that bitch was hot as expletive last summer. I figure now would be the time while I have the engine out...is it even worth it? How much would it cost?


I am a total noob to anything mechanical so I appreciate the help.

 

a/c with an h22? nope......if you want to retain A/C and have a fun swap go B-series

 

with h22a swap..u will need to use the special ac bracket if i remember correctly...

 

No, the H22 swap will be later.

I'm putting in the stock engine in it I got from a junkyard, that is the one I'm asking about putting ac in.

 

youll need a A/C condenser /fan.. i got them two i can sell ya.. A/C compesser.. belt.. and lines.. and few other parts.. i cant remeber off hand .. maybe someone else can add to it

 

Anyways as far as the h22 thing, that will be in the future and I don't know if thats the one I want, like I said I'm a noob to this so I have just started researching and I will hope to do this sometime within the next two years, I want an engine good enough to roast my brothers 06 mustang gt I don't know how possible this is and what engine to pick, any recomendations? (I think I may need turbo to beat his stang) but like I said I'm a noob
