Well, we are on dinner break, I came home to grab a quick bite and relax so thought I would update all of those anxiously waiting to here something on the meet. It is awesome, 6 R's showed up, only 2 are driving but ride alongs are awesome. Definately fun.

Plus, the NASA event seems much better run now that NASA is actually running it and not Pro Motorsports (or whatever thye are called). We actually had a tech inspection!

I think we are all trying to plan a trip to do some shifter kart driving in Phoenix. :-

This is my first post on Honda-Tech. I have the Silverstone S2000 that came along with RFever and his white Type-R last night. Thanks for the ride Mark!

Here is the video of a lap around Spring Mountain Motorsports Park located in Pahrump Nevada (60 miles west of Las Vegas). The video is of average quality and has no sound because it had to be under 10MB to fit into my account. It's not to bad though, and shows how much fun this track really is.

We'll have to organize another group to go down to Speedway Raceway (the new indoor Karting track for those unfamiliar).

It was great meeting up with everyone!

We definately need to go do some of the shifter karts some time. The speedway place is fun, but I want to do some real racing, and for $25, it's a better deal than the Speedway place.

 

Karts for sure, but I'm going to gather as much info as I can to try to get us to make a group run to Vegas in August, running the le mans track there. I'll bet the Nevada R's would love some company!

Slower through the turns too, I promise.

Hey guys, it was a pretty good turnout on Sat. Thanks for the ride (twice!), Mark. I'm gonna have to watch out for you the next time I'm out there! You were definitely going pretty fast on the last run out there. Anyways, pics will be coming soon. It was great meeting everyone on Saturday.....I'm looking foward to the next meet we have....hopefully we could get a few more R's together next time....I say we try for a large meet at the Pavillions one night.
