is that what could cause it? i was thinking of that too i wasnt sure. cause i took my car in for an alignment today and they said the boot is bad.

so what should i do? replace the boot or replace the whole axle?

also if i replace an axle do i have to align the car again?

i would go ahead and replace the axle. if you pop the knuckle off from the lower ball joint (where it meets the LCA), then no, you you don't have to re-align the car.

if you do not see grease in the wheel well it means it has been like that for awhile and you need to replace it asap, check the other side too...

no way it's is very simple everything is obvious as to what to do
the axle just pops out after dismounting the 19 mm bolt. but then you have to take that 17mm bold of the bottom part of you disk assembly just to you could take the axle out.
I'm sire there is a DYI write up. try searching for it.
I'd do it but gotta hit the hey caue i gotta get up at 5 am.

The axle goes back in the hub once you line it up, I put a dab of grease on the spline to make it easier...
