hey guys i just have a quick question... my friend told me that he saw white smoke coming from my exhaust when he was behind me at a stop. that was when my car was warming up when we got to my house and i looked while the car was running there wasnt any smoke at all. could this just be smoke from the car warming up?? or is this a serious problem?????? all your input is really appreciated! thanks in advanced
What's your weather like?
I was burning coolant recently (white humid smoke) because of a blown head gasket. I noticed that it would go away after warm-up but when revved or under load it would smoke a lot more. Does your car smoke when you drive it?

my friend says it wasnt smoking when we were driving and i gave it decent gas. also i live in wisconsin and the weather is between 40-60 degrees ferenheit (sp?) i just got my oil changed today and if i was leaking coolant or antifreeze wouldnt the mechanic have seen it?
Sounds like it was just due to low temps. Ever notice how most cars smoke on cold days?
It's normal. Once it warms up, take it into the higher revs a time or two and see if it happens again.
