would it be possible to use the gears from a hydro gsr tranny, in a cable tranny case?

 

I believe only the YS1 trans case will accept hydro internals, i've seen more then one thread about guys taking itr trans guts and stuffin em in ys1's... search the archived in here, you'll probably come across something with 'ys1' 'itr gear' or something along those lines. How involved it was i'm not entirely sure of but it wasn't nightmarish.
