I just bought a doppler dual stage sensor for the alarm I'm going to install (Avistart 6000). The Avistart has a dual stage vibration sensor and I do not know which is the stage 1 and 2 wires so I can tap into them with the doppler wires. Is there a way of figuring it out? I know this may be over kill but I am sick of having things stolen from me. The alarm does have an input for an optional sensor but it is single stage. Please hel. Thanks in advance.

 

Thanks for your excellent advice as always. I will connect the alarm setup temporarily and probe the lines as you recommend. I will have to splice in them some how because the wire connection is plug ended. I looked for your write ups as you suggested but came up with one, where you say there will be no more posts until people read what’s in the archives. I agree with that idea but I can’t find the info. Is it under another name? Is there another source online you would recommend for finding this info? Again thanks.
