Default Need suggestions on alarm setup

Okay guys I've been reading a lot of DIY threads in this forum (thanks Suspendedhatch, VegaS10) and armed with that information. I'm finally ready to buy everything I need to properly secure my vehicle. I plan on buying all of my components from sonicelectronix.com and here's the list

Viper 5901
520T back up battery
513T pizeo mini siren 2 EA
507M Digital tilt sensor
506T glass break audio sensor
504D stinger double guard shock sensor
Bosch BRLY1 relays 6 EA
Bosch relay sockets 6 EA (Is this even worth buying????????)

I do have a lot of questions since this will be my first time at trying to install an alarm. I plan on installing everything in about a month but just wanted to get some suggestions from some people in here that have done it.

I am pretty sure the Viper 5901 comes with a dual stage shock sensor, or did you want to install two of them?
If so, why?

As for the rest, you should be OK, however, other then the relays and the relay harnesses, [where it makes no diff.] is not an authorized DEI dealer, as far as I know, so there will be no manufacturers warranty on any of the DEI product.

Read sonicelectronix warranty/return policy carefully, if you can live with it, you have all you need.

You asked, "Bosch relay sockets 6 EA (Is this even worth buying????????) the sockets are worth having, but I would buy the raw sockets, [clip together type] and a bag of terminals, makes for a much cleaner job and eliminates 30 connections, [if all terminals and relays used].

Are you looking to do a basic install, semi stealth or a full stealth install?

So you have the tools to do the job? 94

Sonic Electronix has a 1 yr std warranty and a 3 yr warranty($32) through squaretrade for the alarm. I don't have any local audio shops that are willing to sell the alarm without installing it. I do have all the tools required to complete the job. The install will be between semi stealth and full stealth.

As an authorized DEI dealer I could possibly see the reasoning for that. I don't know your skill
level when it comes to security installations....but in the past I have encounter the messes
that DIYers have done when the wanted me to "check out my alarm it just stopped working."
Just remember your installation no matter how "high-end" the system is...is the install is
sub par it will defeat the purpose.

You are aware that DEI offers a LIFETIME WARRANTY on their product if:
-purchased and installed from an authorized dealer.
- limited to the original installed vehicle.

I just had warranty work done on two of my personal systems that were both over 10 years old.
Just thought you should be made aware of that.

Point taken I have no problem with buying the alarm for an authorized dealer but no authorized dealer or shop is going to install the alarm based on proven methods found in the a/v/s forum. What do you suggest I do? Even if I go to an authorized dealer to buy the alarm I don't get lifetime warranty. The only shop or people that I know that will install an stealth alarm is wrx-sti-killer, suspended hatch, or vegaS10 the problem is they are all 10+ hr drive one way for me. I have no other choice but DIY.

The main diff. is with semi stealth you do not need to pull the dash, for full stealth you do have to pull the dash. 94
