Default Battery or Alternator or Both 98 Civic DX

Alright this one has me puzzled...

Wednesday morning I started the car as always and nothing unusual, drive it to my daughters daycare turned car off. Left daycare car started no issues again. Get to work everything alright. Leave for lunch and no power! Dash lights very dim and turn ignition and click, click. Boosted car using some jumpers and drove home no issues. Pull into driveway and turned car off, tried to turn back on and same thing... click, click dim lights. Car will always start with boost but not on it's own.

Has the battery just gone flat and not accepting a charge or does it sound like my alternator is shot. I can drive the car and it does seem fine once boosted but I have been running with all accessories off.

Checked it today with my buddies snap-on load tester and the battery appears to be flat and the alternator is producing 14.2V @ idle, but no Amps at the battery terminal. When Amps measured at white alternator wire only 8-9amps shown.

We load tested the battery and she went flat... We then check the alt at idle and only 8amps registered. We then loaded the system and she stalled at 60-70amps or so
