Im also looking at the ac. I dont think it will go one with out changing the pulley to 5 ribs. So mabey no AC. unless I can get that. Same for power steering. This is going to be fun. Its gonna take me around a day to get it out, and probally 3 days gettting extra parts. and one more day to drop it.

To answer the question in your topic. Most likely not! When I did my swap the power steering pump on my h23 not bolt up to the h22 bracket. Additionally the h23 bracket will not bolt up to the h22 head. Furthermore the jdm ps pump that came with the swap has a different outlet connector. I say most likely because I don't know what year they used which pump nor do I know exactly what you have or what you are buying. But if it doesn't bolt up you might as well take the pump out while the engine is out and loop the lines because I have not been able to find a working bracket anywhere.

ya. when it runs lol. it is a bitch, but doable. low speeds suck though.
all i did was pull my belt though. since the pump is fried/leaking. if i loop my lines, it would be a lot easier.

The bracket is different, but the part numbers for the pump seem to be the same to me no?

112546 003 1 PUMP SUB-ASSY., POWER STEERING SI
112546 003 1 PUMP SUB-ASSY., POWER STEERING VTEC

But yes the bracket is different.

I put a JDM OBD1 H22A into an OBD 2 SI. That is why I basically said his experiences may differ since I don't know exactly what he has. Yes I drive without ps. The funny thing is it turns more difficult at ultra low speeds but turns easier at high speeds. As long as you don't try to turn the wheel while sitting still you won't have any problems and barely notice it. If you look around the board a lot of ludes run without it.

I must say that not every car is like this though. I drove a lumina with a broken pump that wouldn't hold fluid and I thought I was going to break my arms on that pos.

driving without p/s isn't that bad at all if you keep your tires inflated properly. When I first got the car w/ the 20% tread + at like 25PSI, the contact patch was huge so it was very hard to steer at low speeds. now that im on brand new tires w/ proper inflation, i can turn/steer normally with 1hand (other hand on shifter) but before i would have to rip at it..

as for the pump, im pretty sure they're not the same, but if you order it and it works, let use know.

Total bs the h23 bracket and pump work I have it on my h23 vtec, you just have to cut a tab that sticks in the the h23 and there is no prevision for that on the h22 head.

You have to use the h23 braket and h23 PS Pump.

On the H23 braket there is a part where it just does not physically bolt to the head. You have to grind that part physically off. Angle griner, I used and its fine.
