Idle boucing when first started up and warm?
Now that the weatehr has gotten colder up here in New Hampshire I have noticed a issue when I start up my '99 Accord EX sedan 4 cyl. 5-speed. When I run into the super market to get a gallon of milk and come bac out and start the car. It starts great but a second afetr it starts the idle drops to like 600 rpm then quickly bounces back up once? Then it is smooth and idles at proper range. The wires are new plugs as well. Recently cleaned the TB, and put injector cleaner though it 200 miles ago? What could this be?
Have you cleaned the Idle Air Control motor (IAC)? I have not owned my Accord for long, but I do know that IAC motors in Accords do malfunction over time, and usually cleaning them out with some carb and choke cleaner helps this problem.
if it is only when the car is warming up it is the fiacv. it is located under the tb (its attached). take it off and on the back there is a little brass looking cap. take out the two scews out and you will see a white looking nut. screw that down as far as it will go.
should fit the problem

I would rather clean it good before adjusting anything. Can I take it off and clean it? I have sprayed TB cleaner/Deep Creep throgh the TB while it was on the car recently?
you are not adjusting anything....you are fixing it. they sometimes they rattle loose and you need to tighten it. ive had to do it 3 times to mine....
There's a tutorial about the IACV and FITV
Just be careful to do it while the car is cold otherwise hot coolant will spill on you.
You may need (should) flush the coolant to get out bubbles after doing them.

Cool, thanks that in FAQ ot do-it yourself. I looked over the write up. Can I use TB cleaner instead of the carb cleaner?
I think that would be safer since it is less harsh on the seals!
Also how much collant is lost in the process? Is tightening the screw required?
