coilovers will be most likely very stiff and will kill GR-2 shocks with a quickness.

Tien S-Techs. Had them on my previous hatch and they rode nice, had them wrapped around tokico blues so it should be the same.
Felt almost like stock and it lowered the car enough where it didn't look ready to go offroad.

are the s tech springs better than the basic coils? i did not like how the basics rode at all, even on a slight drop

I didn't like them on my friends 1992 Integra on new OE replacement struts, car felt sloppy. Id say go with the Pro-kit or Sportlines if you want a lower stance.
They do feel different then the basic coilovers though, in my opinion better.

go with the eibach's. i personally havent used teins but generally eibach are considered the better quality out of the two.
i'm using sportline atm. even with 1.8in drop..the ride is comfortable. so the pro kits being a drop of around 1in...the ride would be even better

Civic Hatchback (EG) 92-95 4.4 / 2.9 1.5 / 1.5

I find it rather odd, that the EG hatchback is given stiffer rates, and a lower rear stance, than the 3rd gen Integra, considering its the same suspension on a lighter car. Even stranger is that the coupe/sedan has less of a rear drop, with the same rates, compared to the hatchback.
Makes me question the data listed there, as the values just don't make sense.

I think H&R offers an OE Sport set of springs. If memory serves, they lower about 3/4" and 25% stiffer than stock- a perfect match with the gr-2, also around 25% more damping than stock. Germany and Japan have strict government regulations on aftermarket car parts, like wheels for example, that keep them in spec with OEM regulations. America does not have this system in place so if you buy cheap 'performance' parts from an American company, chances are they are lesser quality than stock. I've heard a lot of stories about cracked and broken wheels from some of these companies, cough, cough, Rota, cough, cough. I read about this on Tirerack when looking at Borbet (German) wheels. Kind of scary if you think about it.
