ok so my car has been white smoking since we turbo'd it. fully built ls/vtec sleeved everything. my catch can isnt pickingup anything. and my little filter on the valve cover seems to be covered in oil and gas. is this blow by. or possibly a turbo seal. my turbo is brand new

 

Sorry if I am wrong but do you have the filter and the catch can connections in the correct holes in the valve cover. The oil and fuel should go into the catch can. If you have fuel smell then you need an oil change and may need to do it more often then you have been lately.

If the white smoke is moisture from the exhaust then fine, if its antifreeze then you should smell it and it may take more time to notice a drop in the radiator.

 

There are kits that some shops have to test for the slightest amount of combustion materials in the coolant system. You mix coolant with this chemical and it changes colour if you have a head gasket leak.

You might want to look into that as "white smoke" = coolant.

 

He is buring oil. Even thought your title reads not losing any oil you said yourself that the VC filter is covered in oil so you are losing some.

First you should check with your engine builder to find out what king of rings they used and what are the gaps.
If you use Total Seal rings then that is why it's smoking. If the gaps are too loose or too tight that is your problem.

For oil to be spitting out of your VC breather you have lots of blowby and you need to fix your Catch can routing or add another catchcan to your VC. Check your compression to make sure you did not break the ring-lands and yes I know you said fully built but fully built does not mean crap if it ain't tuned properly.

You need to ask yourself if the Valve guides are in good condition or was that change recently?

Oh yeah, if your turbo is new then you will see a slight hint of blue smoke at warm up for a few months depending on how much you drive. This is the bearings breaking in and it's normal. After a few months that will go away.
