Default radiator question

Hey guys.
I have a 91 dx with a b16 swap and the stock radiator.. i think... The thing is, i need to replace my radiator because it is leaking. when i searched, i think (if i read correctly) that a stock dx radiator will work fine, but i also heard through word of mouth that some people run smaller radiators. the only reason this interested me was because my car runs pretty cold alot of the time. What would you guys recommend?

any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

thanks
chris

If you plan on boosting it in the future than is a must have so do it now. Otherwise waste of money stock radiatior is fine.

check to see if you have a thermostat. My buddy brought over a car he had recently bought that never went above 1/4 on the temp gauge. cracked open the t-stat housing, low and behold, no t-stat!!! we went and got one from honda, put it in and it started overheating like a bitch! had a blown head gasket that must have not made enough pressure to start f-in things up with the t-stat out running so cold. make sure no one pulled that one on you, it always scares me when people say their cars never warm up...

no ****!! thats crazy man.. and thanks for the heads up i was actually going to replace it @ work today but i didnt have time .. the car warms up but it just takes a while.. lol and speaking of blown head gaskets... when i pulled up to my house the other day (when i discovered the problem) i caught a wiff of that infamous sweet smell and i instantly thought: head gasket, but it turned out to be the radiator!

i will check that out though.. thanks 4 the feedback!

I have a dual core integra on mine and doesnt get above a 1/4 even in 100 degree humid summer..also the hoses fit better with the integra radiator then the stock radiator.
