crx w/ b18a no start trouble
my cars been dead for a long time and iv been lazy to fix it when i got the chance i replaced all these parts.
new battery, alternator, fuel filter, replaced grounds bolts, checked my timing belt, checked for spark, my fuel pump is still goes off when i turn the key, replaced the starter, distributor, spark plugs,
i think it might be a wireing problem cuz everything connected to the ecu is screwed up! and my friend says i should replaced the spark plugs even tho we're getting spark, i brought it to a shop and they called me a week later saying they cant fix it so i wasted money to get my car towed to a shop and now i got to tow it back. the last fix up i did to my car was replace the distributor and thats when my car started but if i didnt keep my foot on the gas the car would die any thoughts of what this problem might be?

it could be a number of things. i worked on a few cars with this problem. water in the gasoline, bad timing, pcv valve not pluged in, idle air control valve bad. u might be right about the bad wiring but these are jus a few example to look out for before u waste more money sending it to another shop that might not even fix it for u
hey i just recieved a complete wiring harness off a 93 integra, it should fit in my crx right? i never swapped out a wiring harness befor, i thought it would be easy until my friend gave me the whole harness for the dash lights and engine ect. so yeah is it pretty easy looks to me like its just plug and play what do you guys think?
NO that harness wont even fit...
and was the car(crx) a dx model?
if so did you covert the wiring harness?
and what ecu are you running?
check your map sensor. and tps sensor
somtimes people plug them into each other (wrong clip for the wrong sensor)
i think that is code 7 for tps and code 4 for map sensor...
