i have a 1991 hodna crx and i put a short shifter in recently, and the whole were the short shifter goes, was not clugged back up with the rubber yet, i took it out for a drive and after a litle bit of time a little bit of blue smoke was coming through???????? this is a project car and i dont know when the last owner changed the oil, people tell me it might be that i need to top up the oil level, but i think the oil is full!!!!!! what the hell could it be or what can i do to start and resolve this problem so i dont ruin it completley?????? plzz helpp

 

blue smoke= burning oil.

you may just have spilled oil on a manifold or exhaust, or it could be the motor burning it. do you also have an exhaust leak?

and put the rubber seal back on that shifter
