How do you hook up Tachmeters, such as oil, volts, and gas
i have a 1991 honda crx dx how do you hook up the tachameters like the Big rpm tachameter, and i want to put a piller pod and put volts, and oil temp., how do you do that, or what the hell do you connect it too?
Well, you have to connect them with wires to make them work. A tachometer will get it's signal from the ignitor, and will also have wires for voltage, ground, and illumination.
The voltage meter will just need to be connected to source voltage, ground and possibly illumination.
Oil temperature requires installing a sensor probe, usually in the oil pan, to send a signal to the gauge which would also have to be powered.
