Default no hex cutout on my d15b1 crank pulley?

I just eyed up my crank pulley, and it does not have a hex cutout to use for the removal tool, is there a tool designed to hold my pulley in place, or should I slam on the brakes in 5th and hope for the best?
I have no desire to jam anything in the flywheel, and am without airtools.

please tell me what to do.

There's tool I've used but can't remember what it's called. It basically looks like a big crescent wrench handle with a chain on the end. You wrap the chain around the pulley and it locks it into place. You can then use a regular socket and breaker bar to remove the bolt holding the pulley in place. Be careful, it can be pretty tough.

Anyone else think this is the way to go (without airtools, or jamming anything in the flywheel)?

Thanks, Frank
