Default Turbo gsr questions

ok last post we talked about me getting the turbo for my gsr, i heard a rumor of possible leaking issues down the road, its an everyday driver, with it tuned right and installed correctly, should i worry about leaks or problems that will cause it to break down?(me getting turbo means all the parts needed oil cooler turbo kit ecu work etc.)

This ought to help you out. Be sure to do it right the first time and always use qiality parts, it's not wise to cheap out on a turbo project.

Good luck with your build, and be sure to post picz and results when ur done. Keep us posted!

You really need a catch can to relieve crankcase ventilation pressure. That way, the all new gaskets and seals that you get will be less likely to give. I've personally replace my oil pan gasket 3 times because I didn't know this when I had my car modified.

Also set a horsepower goal and build from there. There are more aftermarket parts out there for the GS-R than a politician has lies, so it shouldnt be difficult finding what you need.

And make sure you have a good reputable tuner you trust tuning you car. THATS the thing thats gonna make or break your build. With good tunes, ive seen 300+ reliable horsepower out of stock internal GS-R's.
