Default B-series turbo CR-X

does anyone have any pics of the Rev-Hard kit for a b-series in a 88-91 CR-X? Or any other pics of turbo kits on CR-X's. I'm wondering if I will have to run the civic radiator to fit the turbo or if I will be able to retain my stock wide radiator. Also any pics of B-series turbo setups in CR-X's will be nice.

you can still retain your stock radiator, but some trimming will have to take place. you could not trim the fan and put it on the other side of the radiator...it's your choice. i might be selling my whole set-up if the price is right. here's some pics...

I've got pics of my DRAG III kit, it's 90% the same as a Rev-Hard. You will be able to retain you stock radiator, it'll just be a tight fit.

Or check out my website in the sig.

I did mine exactly like this guys. It required some cutting. But worth it. Even if it don't run any more, still worth it.

Hmmmm the ole back yard turbo eh? I actually know a guy thats got one of those on an LS CRX. Look J. Davis up Here
He's running a good sized T3 off of some kinda dodge I think...Cool guy lives up in Asheville, NC.

I'm not really sure how much power i'm putting out. Most LS guys with Hondata's are putting down around the 250~280HP/210~230TQ mark. Most peeps run 7~10 lbs of boost. Though i'm not really sure what i'm putting down. I run a Zdyne standalone, so thats why I made the Hondata comparision. Personally i'm shooting for the 300+ WHP mark.

As far as ET goes....I dunno never been to the track. Every asks/nags me to go, but I don't really want to. It's fast on the street, thats all I really care about. Just for reference tho, there are a handful of fast domestic local. Most run mid-low 7's in the 1/8. I run with /out run then all night long....

The Zdyne standalone ECU I highly recommend.

You guys get new lower compression pistons? what other upgrades did you do besides the turbo (fuel/ignition/etc)? doughboy, let us know if your selling (how much do you think?). I kinda ruled out turbo, but it may work if I throw the fan to the other side (fluidyne radiator is thick!)

LS are lower compression anyways.

MSD 6AL, Blaster coil, 9.3mm wires, plugs, ect.

I also run a Zdyne SECU

I lowered my comp. I have to re-build now so I will get flat tops this time, no dish like before. For most of us with turbo the mods just keep coming. For myself I went through and changed almost everything, you name I got it. Its just what I wanted for my car. You don't have to buy everything.

she wil live again...

My friend ran a b20 turbo in his 90 hatchback and he had to get a smaller half size so he opted for the fluidyne. It looked nice. I'm pretty sure you'll definately need a smaller one unless you want to chop some stuff to make room for piping and such, we even made the manifold ourselves for minimal space but it still didn't fit without cutting.

HavokRacing:

Depending on what mount kit you are using, you can get away with a Fluidyne. With Place Racing I could not. Like you mentioned there was a bit or "creative" engineering done to the lower radiatior support. Basically I anviled the SOB flat so that I could shift the bottom of the radiator forward about 2". That gave me enough room for the I/C piping to clear and for the turbo to have more than 1/8" clearnce.

4g4me: Wrong dude, don't flame. Offer some info on the subject or don't post.

it's basically a rev-hard kit but with an upgraded bosch fuel pump, tial 35mm WG, blitz DD BOV. i'll look to sell the whole kit for $3200. that's with 52mm greddy boost and EGT gauge, profec B, turbo timer, cyberdyne air/fuel, billeted missing link, upgraded steel braided return line, and of course the turbo kit which consist of a turbonetics t3/t4e, piping made to fit crx, intercooler, FMU, rev-hard manifold with downpipe (with 2 o2 and flex pipe already welded), all hoses clamps, feed lines.... e-mail me if anyone is interested.
