Default Lighter Flywheel...

Someone asked me and I couldn't answer the question... So I'm asking you all. With a lighter flywheel will you lose torque?

i thought it just raises and lowers your revving faster since its lighter
don't think you would lose tq out of it

You lose momentum on the drag launch, and the revs will drop faster between shifts.

You dont lose or gain any torque with it. It really helps the revs rise and drop faster.

My gsr definitely felt quicker at lower rpms with a 10 poundish flywheel compared to the stock 18 poundish one. I like mine and I dont know if it really made my car faster or not, but i do like the new feel it has.

Yeah, I got an 11 lb flywheel here and someone was interested in buying it and he asked me that. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for finding that out Tyte-S. I just asked in the Prelude section if this stuff will for sure fit, waiting on a response.
