Default autolock vs autolock pro

i notice that the key design is differnt, the pro has a "barrel" type key... is that better than a flat one that the original comes with?

I'm sure the newer design is better...why else would they release it?

Get the Pro. If you read on the box, the regular one is pick-resistant, freon-resistant..etc. The Pro says its pick-proof, freon-proof, drill-proof, cut-proof...etc. The pro looks a lot beefier than the regular Autolock also, plus the lock mechanism is better.

Also, the Autolock Pro has the $5,000 gurantee while the regular one only has the $1,000 gurantee (make sure to send in your registration card once you get it, within 20 days I believe, or the reward no longer applies).

Now, the main difference from a website:

FAQ: What is the difference between The unBRAKEable AutoLock PRO and The unBRAKEable AutoLock?
Answer: The unBRAKEable AutoLock PRO has a high-security cylindrical lockset, while The unBRAKEable AutoLock has a standard flat key lockset.

Where can i buy one outside America? All the listed ones on ebay did not ship internationally. I've been wanting one for ages now. I don't think theres anything else like it in australia.

I'm guessing they towed it. It was in front of my house. I had an alarm with kill switch, club, and auto-lock. I came in the house for a little while and when I went outside it was gone. Just like that! I didn't hear anything. I think aliens took it.

They could have towed it, or there is a device that will snap the autolock right in half so they could have had one of those. Kind of sucks the second something comes out to protect our cars someone else has to come out with ways to destroy it.

What good does snapping an Autolock in half do? If you break it in half, you're still stuck with the part that jams up under your pedal, but now there's no way to remove it other than cutting it off.

Well first of all this would make alot of noise take alot of time and hopefully you should know your car is being stolen at that point. I am paranoid as hell, I have people box me in no matter where I park.

actually it caters to repo men...who are thieves legally...it's just that some of them can be bad apples and do side jobs which are illegal.

theft by towing is not unheard of. so a minority of tow truck operators are tied in with chop shops. Toronto just had another chop shop raid...

unfortunately these are the people who are pros and we should be watching each other's backs for.

Call me paranoid, but even though this link is probably popular, does it really need to be posted here?
