Once every 1 to 2 months, when its hot out most of the time. I'll shut the car off and when I come back 10-15 min later, When I try to turn it on the check engine light comes on. And the car cranks and cranks and cranks, but wont start till I let it sit till the light gos off

 

i had same problem it turns out it was my main relay it began to go bad so i changed it and it never happned again

Relay for what? And where would that be on my 92 DA?

Sorry if that sounds stupid, I know my sh#t when it comes to cars.
I just don't do electrical! It makes my head hurt.

its under the dash towards the left side of driver seat( near ur hood latch its a small spuare relay i can take a pic to show u how it looks if you want?

 

That would help lots! Then I can look it up in my factory service Manuel.
