No spark, no power to coil, story inside!!
I failed emissions last week. Saturday night I checked my plugs and their not bad for original (i bought new one today anyway). I also checked the resistance in the wires, they are shot (got ngk blues). I left the wire off when i found out it was shot. Then closed the hood. Sunday morning, my dad starts my car to get it out of the garage so he can paint the bodywork he just did on some guys van. He starts it and it runs like **** becuase of the wire being off. He then puts it in reverse to get it out of the driveway, then it dies. He pops the hood and sees the wire just laying their. Puts it back on and tries to restart it, all it does is turn over and wont start. NO SPARK.
Today i bought new plugs and wires, then came home and checked to see if power was going to the coil...nope. Its getting fuel.
So here is where im at.
No power to coil.
All fuses good.
Nothing is loose that i see.
NO check engine lights.
How do i fix this problem? HELP!

You definetly blew your coil. Samething happend to me on a tune up. The coil blows easily when they are not properly connected to the wires/plugs
