Default Stolen in Milwaukee - 1998 GSR HELP!!!!

Pictures to come tonight sometime...

kinda a bad pic...car was molested wheni went to the bathroom...but it is all i have here at work....

On Sunday, October 28th between 6pm and 10pm my Red 1998 GSR was stolen from the corner of 48th and Vliet. It is a hatchback with little to no actual mods. the only thing really was the cold air intake. It was stock looking except for the tinted windows and the clear corner markers. There is a brewers sticker on the drivers side rear window and a Dave Matthews sticker on the passenger side. I didnt even hear it leave If anyone has seen this car or has any information i would be greatful. This car was my baby. I will post pictures of her tonight. Help please.

I do have an alarm system on it...but of course the sensor in the door was malfunctioning and i couldnt activate the alarm.

I drove around a little down by national tonight... Any suggestions?????

unfortunately, i wouldn't count on it. if you do, it will most likely be a bare shell.

i live in the suburbs and even so am still overly **** about vehicle security

most stolen cars end up on the southside ( 6 of my friends have had their cars stolen and stripped there in the past 3 years)

Still haven't heard anything...drove around the southside for 2 hours yesterday. My buddies integra was stolen and he found his down there in a alley on blocks. I got 102.1 to read something on the air about my car being missing...maybe someone will have seen it and call in....going on 3 days missing

chances are the motor will be one of, if not the first, things they take out....if it is found you'd just be lucky to have body panels and doors

when these guys strip a car, they strip it to the max

Trying to stay positive. Most of the stolen cars i see on here seem to be recovered anywhere between 5-7 days....all stripped...but i guess all i am looking for is a little closure. I did all the work on this car. From breaks to timing belts. It was my first baby. Shitty thing is i just made the last payment on it last week. Just my luck! Wish i could find these people who do this...i am not a violent person but my imagination runs wild!

just keep waiting on the insurance check

Im from the Grafton/Cedarburg area, I think I have seen you around driving before.

If it hasnt been found by now, im sure it is stripped.

I had my 92 gsr stolen infront of my house in milwaukee back in '04, and they took the interior parts, the head. Stupid thing was they left the block and tranny intact, the most valuable parts on the car.

Eariler in '04, my buddy got is 94 gsr stolen in front of my house down in milwaukee. He found it a few days later with only the rims, cluster, intake and throttle body taken. Go figure.

Both cars were found just north of I94, just west of the marquette campus area in an alley. In the ghetto part of town, where alot of cars end up. Id look there if your determined to find it.

Starting to completely lose hope. I have heard nothing yet and we are on day 8...now i guess all i can do is wait for the insurance check...not that it will be worth it at all...

Got a phone call this am. They found the car...as far as i know they took the motor and thats it. Not that it isnt enough....i am going to check it out today. Insurance might pay for a new motor...but i dont know yet. Found it only a couple of blocks from where it was stolen. Shitty thieves....get a life. Or a real job. people have no morals anymore.

Hopefully that's all that's missing, if so, thats an easy rebuild, hopefully you get a check from insurance for a brand new OEM dealer motor

Someone in your area was scoping you out. Sorry to hear about the loss. Hopefully the ins company won't rape you too much on the check.
