It's not long at all. I have the shift boot pushed way down so you can see it is a dual bend

Looks like it's pointing straight up in 2nd gear. Does it lean forward slightly in neutral? If so, you've got the wrong linkage on your car. It seems like the linkage is too long, but I can't imagine what car it would have come from.
My AutoZone aluminum dual-bend shifter sits straight up in neutral, leans forward slightly in 1st, 3rd, and 5th, and leans backward slightly in 2nd, 4th, and reverse.
This is 3rd, neutral, and 4th:

Will have to check that out when I get home. I'm not going to drive it until the timing belt gets changed.

And your point? That shift **** sucked actually, too hard to grasp it when shifting hard/quickly. And I paid WAY too much for it back in the day when I had my old Camry.

They make colored shifters now?
What makes you think it looks like a DC Sports shifter? Both my DC shifters had the logo etched in the side of the shifter too, which this one obviously doesn't.
My vote is that it's a generic off brand shifter.

Can anyone find pictures of the DC?
Was woundering if there would be any marking to look for to confirm what kind.

Ok, good catch guys.
I'm just going to have to go with everyone on here and say it's either an e-bay special, or auto zone type.
Thanks for all the comments guys

I still want to know why the shifter appears to lean really far forward in 1st and nearly straight up in 2nd. It should be slightly forward in 1st and slightly leaning backwards in 2nd.

For some reason mine use to be like that too... 2nd was straight up and down for me and in 1st it would lean pretty far forward... thought thats how it was suppose to be, but guess not.

That's not how it appears. That is the truth.
Just got out of the car and noticed it.

It's just some clone version that came in anodized colors, like so (no-name brand off the Modacar website):

That's the new DC sports. I believe the earlier model were colored too.
