Default Alternator question, output current

Ok, I have a B16A EG hatch. I'm starting an LSVTEC-turbo project that I plan to have done maybe Spring 2008. The alternator on my B16 is near death... and my B18 didn't come with one.... so my question is:

Since I'll need to buy an alternator for the LSVTEC anyways, instead of buying two alternators, could I buy the 90amp Integra one now and use it on my B16 (which has an 80amp stock) until the LSVTEC is done and then I'll move it over to that motor. Would that screw with anything on my car in the meantime?

Thanks in advance...

I would think the 90 would be fine.... It only puts out 90 amps at peak power, so having 10 more amps of available current is a good thing.

That is kind of my feeling. But I wasn't sure. I guess I'll just do it and hope it works out for me.
