If your DelSol was never setup like this beforehand (Example being you had a D16z6, im only guessing, and it had the MAP on the TB) then you will not have a firewall mounted MAP sensor to begin with. You will need to obtain a MAP sensor that is firewall mounted. I would contact the company you got the motor from and ask them about getting one.

If your car originally came with the engine harness map wiring you should see a 16 wire plug on your shock tower. On this plug you will have a grn, wht, yel w/red stripe going on the chassis side but not on your engine harness side hard wire those up to the map sensor and do a vacuum hose down to the throttlebody. If I remember correctly it is one wire on the top row on the 16 prong and two on the second row. If your car had vtec orig you may see a couple more their also, just try to look for those colors. The colors I referenced were from an eg civic, should be similar on a del sol. OR you can tap closer to the ecu, on obd1 it is the top far right three that go to the map sensor colors should be self explanitory if you reference your old harness. If you need a map sensor you can get one cheap off ebay. Also on ff-squad.com there is a "technet" which has a pic of a firewall map sensor if you need it. Hope that helps.
