My engine build/Need a good tuner in southern PA or Northern MD
I finally got all the parts I needed to get my motor done this past summer and built/swapped it in august, it only has 293 miles on it and is ready for my turbo setup to go on... I need to find a good tuner in the south central PA area or Northern Maryland area before the turbo goes on, if anyone has any in mind or know of any reputable people let me know!! thanks
Motor Specs:
Probe forged Pistons(81.5mm, 8.5:1 compression)
Probe H-beam rods
Block Decked .010"
Block Bored .20 over
Block guard
ARP head studs
ARP rod bolts
Cometic head gasket
Head built by JG:
Port & Polish
Over sized intake valves
JG Springs/retainers
JG turbo cams
JG adjustable cam gears
Polished combustion chamber
After all the machine work and what not was done the compression comes out to 9:1
The turbo's going to go on probably in the spring time when school's finished up and the car's broken in(I barely drive it at school...)
The build/swap took me two weeks
but I guess that's not too bad for working two jobs seven days a week during the summer...
and don't worry, the valve cover isn't staying yellow, it's just all I had at the moment

waiting patiently, 2000 bumpers in the background

the result of getting caught in a flash flood earlier that summer, so glad I couldn't afford a good cold air intake at the time

so fresh

That's right, ratchet straps

notice the shift linkage is still attached... stupid bitch pin...

Since then I've done my front bumper conversion and waiting on the rear for when I can afford the paint, and traded my old motor for ls meshies
Once again if anyone knows of any good tuners in my area let me know! thanks

thanks, it'll defiantly fit the b18b but check out edelbrocks website im pretty sure they have dimensions on there. it was a tighter squeeze in the integra and im assuming it may be even tighter in a civic

Thanks I've been planning it for a while but as far as hp goes I was hoping anywhere from 300-350? but the hp numbers and psi are still kind of up in the air until I talk to a tuner... the internals are ready for anything but Im still running on stock cylinder walls so Im not 100% sure yet...
