P30 bearings for an LS Vtec?
Sorry to bother with this post, but I searched and couldn't find much information on this topic.
Im currently building a mild LS Vtec and I've read that P30/B16 bearings can be used as an alternative to standard LS bearings, or aftermarket ACL's, and others.
By comparison standard LS bearings have a small hole located off center on the bearings to match an oil galley on the LS rods, the P30/B16 bearings do not have this hole.
Suppose I were to use P30 bearings instead of LS bearings. Would I encounter any kind of problems or possible engine failure as a result of using the P30/B16 bearings which don't feature this hole?

if you do want to use p30 bearings have a machine shop drill the bearings for the hole.
that hole does the job that squirters do on vtec motors. oil goes through bearing , through rod and into bottom of piston
