Default '95 EX Auto Accord w/ OBD1 H22 swap....what ECU?

Looking to put an OBD1 H22 swap in my '95 Accord. What ECU should I use? I'm sure I could get one chipped fairly easily. Should I just have my stock ECU chipped? Is there any way to make an OBD1 P13 an AUTO ECU?

I believe you can repin the F22B1 ecu to run an H22 pretty easily. The 95 accord was OBD1, so you shouldn't have any compatibility problems.

Uh, you MAY be able to re-pin the F22b1 ecu but a H22 engine has different fuel and ignition maps not to mention that an H22 has IAB's to be controlled. In short, use the ecu for that engine or chip an ecu to use compatible fuel and ignition maps.

Automatic tranny? You need an automatic p13, which is the stock ecu for the h22.

I'd just never heard of an OBD1 Auto H22 ECU.

Was considering getting one chipped.

Sometimes you can find them on ebay, or you could try to get a jdm engine importer to find you one. You will also need the JDM TCU (P19) to shift to redline.

Not really that worried about that....can just shift manually w/ the automatic, right?

Would I be able to chip the stock Accord ECU? I have a friend that chips ECUs.

You WILL NOT be able to shift (even manually) past the stock redline without the h22a TCU. The fuel maps are also different since the h22 revs higher and has VTEC. Even if you chip an accord ECU for the correct fuel maps, the ecu doesn't have the capability to control all of the functions of the H22. Find a P13 AUTO and a P19 TCU. Don't half-*** it man.

Will the P19 be PnP on this tranny?
