Transmission issues. Trouble shifting.
I searched around, didn't really find anything that seems to fit my problem.
Anyway, 1993 4th Gen H23 Manual.
Just started earlier today. Out of no where, I noticed that it suddenly became difficult to shift into 2nd and 4th gear. It's not necessarily 'difficult' per se. It will go into gear, and it will drive just fine. But I feel like there is some kind of resistance now. Like it's rubbing against something. It doesn't just drop and click into place anymore.
I'm just curious if anyone has an idea of what is going on. I don't want this turning into a bigger problem down the line.
Thanks.

No slipping. No grinding or anything like that. Once it's in gear it feels just fine. I was going to check the linkage once my roommate came back so I could have him shift while I watch.
I'm starting to think this might be a clutch issue. I notice if I get on the throttle for a few seconds and it's not quite at operating temperature, the same problem starts up and it becomes extremely difficult to move it out of gear or into the next one. The stick just feels like it doesn't want to move without very significant resistance. Again, no grinding, no slipping. Just feels really -- sticky if you will.
Once the car is completely warmed up though it stops happening.
Any ideas?
