I have a 01 ex civic, and i'm wondering if anyone has had the code EGR flow insufficient come up when the check engine light comes on. I replaced the original valve, drove it, and the engine light came back on. Once again EGR flow insufficient. Unfortunately with this issue I can't pass the emissions test, so I need help A.S.A.P.

 

this has happened to only 2 other people i know. me and my friend davis. he replaced his and also cleaned it and his lights still on also. as for mine, its been coming off and on for the past couple of months.

this is a RARE issue. ive searched high and low and havent found an answer. you might be able to pass emissions by having spent a certain amount of money or certain amount of times attempted to try and replace the part. check CA emissions laws. go back to your shop that did it for you and have them redo it. Maybe after the 3rd time they might let you off the hook.
