APEXi N1 type PRO?
well if they the same as exv, you screw the adjusting **** all the way down then turn it.... it should move a ton.. but it will move from soft to hard..
i can take a pic for you tonight if you would like
and to adjust the height you use the apexi wrench's and turn the part under the spring to the right. to raise the car. do the opposite to lower it

The dampers pictured above have separate preload adjustment, so you turn the actual threaded portion of the shock body to raise or lower, and use that lowest locking ring to lock it into place. The rings under the springs are used for preload adjustment only.

if you read i said,
tighten the long piece all the way down on the strut top
then adjust the smaller one on top left and right to make it softer or harder
it shouldn move a whole lot.. but will maybe like ten clicks each way maybe

I have also Tein SS and on them yu know when tu stop adjust damping,**** comes to stop at half way point,turn back slightly until it clicks into place.But on Apexi can feel that
