You mean sense. It makes no sense.

I believe in Japan, you can get the z6/y8 in a model of the XSi but not positive.
Why do you want to see a picture, it looks exactly like every other integra you've seen with about 20 less horsepower?

This list shows lots of Integras coming with a ZC in japan. Dont know if its sohc or dohc zc tho I have seen quite a few foreign single cam integras.

GRAF-FITI is right the XSi came with a b16, some even came with AWD.

it appears JDM integras had an optional sohc right through to model year 2000. but none offered in america.

Neither do I. The DC chassis weighs roughly the same amount as a Civic, and Civics have been powered by SOHC engines for years. Are they blazingly fast? Obviously not, but they don't run "33 second 1/4 miles" either.

ive seen an imported AWD d series 4dr teg for sale on craigslist before in the San Fransico Bay area listings, was a bout 2 years ago though. from one point though a slighty heavier teg could use the advantage of the b18's torque

from all points, there is a reason that a b18b in an integra is just as or quicker than a b16 let alone singles

the torque alone helps move the weight. 2dr stock tegs have always eatin 2dr stock civics, unless you compare the 99-00 Si to the ls, but still in some cases the ls will win. to bad there wasnt any real affordable AWD conversion for the bseries it would be interesting if cost-effective

Thought the EJ chassis was around 2400, the DC2 around 27is? Would that be considered roughly?

According to Edmunds:

1999 Civic EX 2-door curb weight is 2513 lbs.

1999 Integra GS-R hatchback curb weight is 2667

1999 LS hatchback curb weight is 2643

To me, that indicates that they're "roughly" the same weight, especially when you factor in the weight reduction that would occur when the SOHC was swapped into the DC chassis.
