Default Skunk2 Or GSR Cams??

I pulled my head yesterday and got to thinking that I had a set of GSR cams in a box somewhere.

I'll be boosted in the spring, probably running a t3/t04e (no clue on boost level yet) with my Endyn ported head and 9:1ish pistons etc, etc, etc...

Looking for best bang for the buck setup, hoping to hit 300hp... Stupid question, maybe, but should I keep the Skunk2 Stage 2 cams that I ran in my all-motor setup or throw the GSR cams back in?

i say keep the cams, try them out... chances are they will perform better than the gsr's. i dont know the lift/duration of the stg 2's compared to say the pro-1's/mazworks, etc.. but if i were you i would do the research and test them out.

You will enjoy the S2S2's with boost. They are a decently healthy cam for NA but not overly large and a local guy here was hitting 134 in the 1/4 with them in a 2.0 sleeved lsvtec with a T67 on pump gas.

Granted that is more than what you are looking for but he had a fair sized gain with them over his GSR cams.

Since I put this thread up, I read a couple of threads about how people LOVE the S2 cams in their boosted engines...

Looks like I've got a set of cams for sale!
