Default How to get rid of CEL code 01?

Ok I got into an accident about a month ago and I just recieved my car today. My CEL suddenly pops up and I get a code 01: Primary O2 sensor Open or short in O2 sensor circuit, defective Primary O2 sensor. I know that after the accident my speedometer didn't work but that is fixed now. What could it be? Also just to make sure I am reading the code right, I jump the service connector and the CEL flashes one quick flash correct?

Thats how you do it. Get an O2 sensor off ebay for like 10 bucks, hopefully it's good.
