Im trying to remove the pcv valve on my 2000 ex and im having trouble. While trying to pull the valve out it broke so now the black half is stuck in the hole. Is there an easy way to get it out? I tried prying it out with a screwdriver but its not helping. Anyone know if this part #2
be removed from the chamber? Is that chamber hard to get out? I can see one of the bolts from under the car but it looks like its held in with two bolts. Thanks.

Number 2 is supposed to stay in there. I hope you didn't damage it, its the rubber grommet that holds the pcv valve in place. just push in the new valve and your done.
you just have to give it a good pull. you could take off the manifold but man thats some unnecessary hassle for the pcv valve. good luck.
i tried to take off my pcv valve but i broke it in half, i tried all afternoon and well into the night i tried everything that i possibly could and i ran out of ideas. if anyone can help me out it would be much appreciated. i have a 2000 honda civic ex d16y8.
