anyone using a plx wideband in 5th gen?

Default anyone using a plx wideband in 5th gen?

Just wanted to know if anyone was using the PLX wideband in their 5th gen, and where you mounted it. i have gauges on my center vent so i cant put it there. and i have a shift light right in front of the tach so if i mount it there i think it might look cluterd. any other sugestions? i was thinking maby a windshield mount?

din under cd player is taken with a screen,
din under dimmer i dont think will be very visable

sorta off topic, but I was wondering if you need to install an extra O2 bung so you can run both w/b, and regular O2's at the same time. I ask because I'll be getting my exhaust done. Thanks

negative.
if you are using a plx m300 you do not need a stock o2 and a wideband o2 because the m300 has wideband output and narrowband output.

I don't know what options they have for displays, but my PLX readout is a 6" deep box that would never fit on a pillar...it fits good in the vents above the radio though.

for NA, the wideband needs to be placed before the cat, somewhere along the collector.

I have mine placed in front of the primary for a better read since i dont even use o2 sensors.

I put my digital display on the top of the steering column. It's a bit more compact than the PLX, but I really like it there. If I had a shift light in the way I'd move the shift light.
Having to look down at the radio, etc while driving wouldn't be that great an idea imo.
