Default hasport shift linkage

This question is to everyone who has a hasport shift linkage. I currently have a "custom welded" shift linkage in my car and it sucks nutz, im thinking about ordering a hasport shift linkage. My question is how does the shift linkage feel? Does it feel like the stock shift linkage or is there much of a difference? Oh yeah, i am also using hasport mounts. Thanks!

I got one and it feels like stock...never had a customized/home made one so I can't really compare it anything except for the original one. I'm using type R shifter and put in the new shifter bushings...had to cut a small pc of the shifter to fit right too. No problems with it whatsoever.. to Hasport. I'm using the new billet mounts too (fits like a glove)...

I've seen some pretty chincy home made ones before so I'd have to say there is a big difference between the two. I don't know how your quality is on yours, but the kids here just hack them to hell.

I put the shift linkage in today and all i have to say is to hasport. The shiftlinkage is great. I compared my old one to the hasport and my old one was about 1/2 in too short and it was slightly more bent which screwed everything up.

Where could i find a type R shifter? Arent they the same as the GSR? I like the way the shifter is bent back on the Type R's

Thanks again for all the replies
