This means nothing!!! Give us a little more info like mpg its not hard to figure out. fill the tank reset your trip odometer. When you fill up again divide the number of miles driven by the gal to fill gives you mpg. Over the course of a few tanks you can get an average. Also driving style can effect mpg quite a bit, what car and engine, any mods to the engine like running boost?

yeah if you just start your car up and go man your goin to get worse gas mileage, cause when the car is cold it burn's more fuel and cause's more engine wear..
now do what i quoted above to see what your mpg is.

i know what you mean. that happened to my car also. check the FUEL INJECTORS. they might be pushing in too much gas. check that out.
sorry for the little details..
ok..let me give out more details..
1) normally i dont realy warm up my car..i start and go..
2) no fuel filter or fuel rail work ...only injectors
i have a 93 honda civic hatch with a integra b18 engine .
also yea smell gas around the car...but i check all over the engine..and so.i dont see no leak... ....... so in this case wat should i do to check the problem?

The REAL TEST.... Constantly strike matches around your car when parked, If it comes Ablaze... Yeah, I think you got a fuel leak somewhere....

dude, check the injectors, i think they might be spitting fuel into the engine, causing you to burn gas. I had this happen to a friend once, it was his injectors.
Damn internal combustion engines.

Hehehe. My car does that too. I asked the previous owner about it and he said to let it go because the car actually runs better if it burns gas. I believe him too because I noticed that my tach always drops to zero when it's not burning gas.
