mpfi vs pfi
whats the difference? is one better than the other and isnt the b series vtecs programmed fuel injection. is my d series multi point fuel injection. just curious
mpfi is multi-port...each cylinder has its own injector. This gives more precise control over the fuel supply to each cylinder. The old school cars, like the older civics, had dual port or maybe even less-port. An injector just kind of squirts fuel somewhere into the manifold and hopes that it gets naturally distributed in each cylinder.
Obviously multi-port is better. Either way, I think only very old cars had anything other than programmed fuel injection.

i look it up on wikipedia. it sounds like pfi is better. it electronically spray fuel and adjust to how much to spray. thats what i got from what i read i might be wrong.
