Default adjustable coil overs

Ok, not to sound stupid but I am new to the high performance car world. I am going to be running my car in solos next year and eventually in club racing. I am looking at investing in some good adjustable coilovers. What type do people recommend and how easy are they to adjust? Are their tools to make sure that the front and rear setting are correct?

No, I don't know anyone doing solos yet. We went to the last race, but didn't stay long.

I am driving a 1997 del Sol S. It will be for Solo II, STS2 class. Currently we are working on adding new rotors and pads, but will also be adding sway bars, new wheel and tires and several other items. It also has strut bars already. I was considering the adjustable coil overs so we can lower it at the track and raise it up to drive it home.

Without an alignment machine, you can't lower it at the track. Your toe will be all kinds of messed up.

Adjustable height spring perches are to set at a given height, align the car, and leave alone.

For a STS2 Del Sol, a set of Koni Yellows and Ground Controls should probably be the entry level suspension choice. Custom rates, as stiff as you think you can drive the car with on the street (unless it will be towed to events). Not sure on the smaller wheelbase of the Sol, but following similar rates to hatchback owners would probably be a reasonable starting point. Somewhere in the 400-600 range on both ends, probably with the rear slightly stiffer, depending on ARBs used.

Thanks! I thought with an adjustable camber kit and a camber measuring tool you could lower them at the track and adjust it. Is there something else involved as well?

dude you didnt just really suggest ksport to a guy who's trying to put his car on a track did you?

if you have the money i suggest TEIN monoflex, if you cant afford that then koni/GC set up should be great too.
