My 96’ Civic does not have a tach and I was originally going to get a new cluster off eBay. However, my only problem is I want to keep a.) my original mileage b.) my km/hr speedo.

Is it possible to take my current cluster and switch the outer gauges? I.E leave the km/hr speedo and odometer in the center and add the tach gauge on the left and the fuel/engine temp combo on the right)

 

No, but you can do it the other way. Leave the tach, temp, and fuel gauges in. Then swap in your speedo/odo in that cluster. Only 4 screws in the rear.

 

just buy an EX cluster (one with a tach) and just put your speedo in it. that way you have your mileage and your km/h and you ahve a tach.

atleast i think that should work. somone please confirm this.

 

yes, they screw into the back.
its fairly simple

 

And then everything will be plug and play? The tach will work with nothing else?
