turbo integra b18c5 burning alot of oil not sure why really need help
I am not sure what you would like to know about my car but i am ready to answer any ?s to help solve my problem. The first thing is it burns alot of oil at least 1 qt a week which just cant be right. Its rebuilt motor sleeved cp piston pauter rods valve job springs retainers, arp head studs hondata s200 w boost . the car is tuned to about 10 lbs and makes about 320whp. it has a slight ticking noise which my friend believes is the lifters needed to be adjusted. i use 2050 oil and still burn so much. when i start the car up a cloud of smoke come out but when its warm it seems to be fine i have a 3 inch exaust with no cat or anything on it i saw a post on another website talking about valve seals and thought maybe thats it Can anyone help me the turbo kit is from drag
i do not believe it smoke at all after the start up and as for the leak down and compression i have not done that yet but i will this tues what should i check if those are both ok

If compression and leak down are good and there is no smoke...you have an oil leak

my car used to smoke on startup, and when i would start driving it after idling for a while. it was the valveseals.
do a compression and leakdown test, they will give you more info.
hows your coolant level?
